This one was born on the highway.

For seventeen years, I drove semi-trucks across this country. Long nights. Early mornings. Rural highways. Heavy traffic. Real miles. When you spend that much time behind the wheel of an 80,000-pound machine, you learn two things quickly: seconds matter, and prevention matters even more.

During those years, I witnessed more animal-vehicle collisions than I ever should have. Some were unavoidable. Many didn’t have to be. Those moments stay with you. They change the way you see the road. They change the questions you ask.

But long before trucking, I was wired to build.

I earned an Associate Degree in Machine Technology and completed certificates in seven specialized fields of study. My background isn’t theory — it’s hands-on. Precision. Tolerances. Materials. Systems that have to work in the real world, not just on paper.

I also competed in VICA / SkillsUSA Precision Machining competitions — and won gold medals. That experience sharpened something important in me: discipline under pressure. Accuracy when it counts. The refusal to accept “close enough.”

That same mindset carried into trucking. And eventually, it carried into invention.

The Roadway Lifeguardian™ System is not a casual idea. It’s the result of lived experience combined with technical training. It’s built on the belief that collisions between vehicles and wildlife are not just unfortunate — they are preventable.

I’ve seen the problem up close.
I’ve built things with my own hands.
And I don’t believe in standing by when something can be improved.

This project represents the intersection of two parts of my life:
The machinist who understands systems.
And the truck driver who understands the road.

The goal is simple: protect both human and animal life by preventing collisions before they happen.

No shortcuts. No guesswork. Just a commitment to build something that makes the road safer than it was yesterday.

That’s the mission.

And I’m just getting started.
